Advocacy Through The Advocate Program
As part of our parent organization, GTKYF Foundation Inc., The Advocate program offers a well-rounded, versatile team of experienced professionals dedicated to being a voice for the voiceless.
We assist with a range of critical issues, including:
• Legal challenges
• Medical and mental health concerns
• Disability support
• Driver’s license reinstatement
• Child Protective Services matters
• Accessing public benefits
In addition, we offer Listening Ear Services—a compassionate space for those who simply need someone to talk to.
Skills Training and Employment
The STEP Group provides skills training and employment services to individuals who are struggling to gain meaningful experience in today’s competitive job market. While we are currently focused primarily on the construction and service industries, we are open to expanding into other sectors as opportunities and needs arise.
If you’re interested in learning hands-on construction trades—or even unique skills like off-grid living techniques or retooling old-world crafts such as blacksmithing and glassblowing—we’d love to start that conversation with you.
We also offer the opportunity to join a work crew and earn income along the way, helping you take real steps toward achieving your personal and professional goals.
Working FarmStead
Participation in an active, working farmstead offers more than just physical labor—it provides a way of life rooted in purpose, discipline, and connection. Through routine and hands-on involvement in sustainable agriculture, individuals learn the value of working with nature, not against it. This approach respects the natural cycles of the earth and fosters stewardship of the land, animals, and resources entrusted to our care.
On the homestead, responsibility is not abstract; it’s tangible and immediate. It’s found in the early morning feeding of animals, the turning of soil, the planting of seeds, and the harvest of what has been nurtured with patience and intention. There is wisdom in every chore, and growth in every challenge. Getting one’s hands dirty becomes a badge of honor—an embodiment of commitment, humility, and a willingness to contribute to something bigger than oneself.
Some might call it hard work, but we see it as meaningful work—labor that awakens the spirit and grounds the soul. It’s the kind of honest effort that brings clarity, joy, and a profound sense of accomplishment. Whether you’re gathering eggs at sunrise or preserving the harvest at sunset, life on the homestead offers a rhythm and routine that brings purpose, peace, and a reason to rise with hope each day.

We are part of a larger NonProfit family at GTKYF Foundation Inc.

Find Renewal Through Transformative Community, committed to sobriety and your success
Discover enriching activities designed to foster connection, personal growth, and community engagement.
We are a different kinda program. In our semi-off-grid rural setting on a working farmstead, you can take the steps to begin rebuilding your life. We accept people from all walks of life. From the homeless on the street, to travelers, to the disabled, and to veterans. We accept families and those with pets as well. Those struggling with housing insecurity, marketable skills in the workforce, and wanting to live a different kinda life. We also have programs specifically to encourage sobriety (think sober living house) as well as programs that work with those who are victims of Domestic Violence. We have space for campers, those wishing to live out of vans, schoolies, (and other vehicles) as well as tents. In addition to our bunk house and other living quarters on-site.

Garden Days: Grow, Give, and Get Involved
Garden Days offer a special opportunity to dig in—literally! Whether you’re getting your hands dirty, witnessing the fruits of your labor, or enjoying the harvest, there’s something deeply healing about connecting with the soil.
These community-driven days are often open to the public, inviting folks outside of our facility and programs to come together and experience sustainable agriculture firsthand. From planting and composting to harvesting and learning, there are many ways to get involved and grow with us.
